Calcium Chloride Prills are made of solid particles of Calcium Chloride containing less than 0.5% water. They have a standard concentration of 96%. In completion and workover fluids, Calcium Chloride provides sufficient density to control formation pressures. Besides, it functions as a swelling agent in oil-based drilling mud.
